Well it's been forever since I've posted here again, LOL. Since my last post we've had a blizzard and an ice storm. To say the least, it's been interesting! I don't go out when the weather's bad, I don't do well with the cold.

Now, the snow's starting to melt, the ice is gone, and I'm looking forward to spring. I bought a bird feeder for my backyard, and a squirrel feeder for the front. My hubby & I moved here 6 months ago (wow, didn't realize it's been that long already), and we've got a HUGE population of grey squirrels on our block. They're so adorable! We have a fairly small house on a small lot, and live a couple blocks from town. Even so, our street isn't very busy, and the squirrels run and play all over the place. I decided to get a feeder for them one morning when I went out to get my mail, and one of them had come up on my front porch. When I opened the door, he looked up at me and just kinda sat there, not afraid at all. I love all animals, but our landlord doesn't permit pets, which is hard for me. So I figure I'll just adopt the neighborhood ones! 

Today, Timmy & I went to Mansfield to do a bit of browsing. They have a fabulous Barnes & Noble Booksellers store there. When I lived in South Bend, I used to spend hours every Saturday at the Barnes & Noble there.

We had a great lunch out at Olive Garden, then came home. Surprise! The UPS man had delivered me a nice big box of Godiva Truffles! All in all, a pretty wonderful day! 

So I've checked my messages here frequently, checked the front page, looked over the groups I've been in, then neglected to post here! I was never any good at remembering to blog, write in my diary, or anything like that. I'll try and do better.

Yesterday I got some sheets that I ordered online for help with my Book of Shadows. I'm going to make my own, and am thinking of using wood, or maybe leather. In the meantime, I'm shopping all over the net for things I can use to decorate it. Having some success, but not a lot yet. I'm having a hard time finding extendable dowel pins for binding the book together, but most of the other decorating items I'm finding tons of!

Also got a new cookbook, so even though I've been sick I spent some good time in the kitchen yesterday.

Hubby has this weekend off, quite a rarity, so maybe we'll get to spend some time together. He recently went to 3rd shift, and he usually signs up to work at least one day out of the weekend. When he does that, he sleeps most of the rest of the weekend, and the only time I get to spend with him is looking in the bedroom door, watching him sleep!

DANG it's cold out, just checked the temp & it's 4 below zero!!! I really don't want to go shopping today...wait, yeah I do!! ;)

Well, more about me...I'm a housewife, having been out of the working world for a bit over 5 years now due to a chronic pain syndrome, and spend a lot of my time in the kitchen, cooking up goodies for my hubby. We do a lot of computer gaming as well, and 4-5 times a year have a bunch of gaming friends over for LAN parties, which usually last the entire weekend. I have one good friend in my area with similar beliefs as me (HUGGLES Velvet!), which helps a lot. 

Time to get ready for the big shopping adventure, it's going to take me at least half an hour to put enough layers of clothes on to leave the house LOL! Blessed Be!
